About me

Hi, I'm Chris. I'm a software engineer with a master's degree in software construction and over 17 years of experience building software products.

I've worked with internal product teams and external clients on projects ranging from content-heavy websites to custom business platforms and Flutter mobile apps.

A recurring part of my work is modernizing existing systems — reducing complexity, improving maintainability, and automating workflows so teams can move faster with fewer mistakes.

Good software starts long before the first line of code. I spend a lot of time understanding what a system actually needs to do and why — that tends to make the technical decisions clearer and the end result more useful.

Away from work, I keep up with the tech community through meetups and conferences, and there's usually a side project on the go.

Personally, I'm married to Mette, and together we have two boys born in January 2023 and December 2025.
